It's been a LONG time since I submitted anything, so I thought I'd share a few...
I visit the Caribbean frequently and have a particular fondness for Cuba. I've made a tradition that on the last day of every visit, I shoot the sunrise. I wasn't supposed to make it there this year but somehow it came to pass anyway and I returned a week ago today.
This is the sunrise for this year. Had I taken it the day before, it would have been a much more flamboyant affair because the weather was perfect but this time it was cloudy. Still, I made the best of it and here is the first of several shots from the Sirenis Playa Turquesa in Holguin, Cuba (Go There!).
The shot has been cropped to wallpaper size (2560 x 1600 widescreen) for my desktop, so you can enjoy it as a backdrop too.
